The twelve competition films were rated by the audience. They could rate the films on a level of one to five. Their favourite film was The Help by Tate Taylor, based on a book by Kathryn Stockett (script Tate Taylor). The film received a total amount of 4.61 points.

The Help is based on one of the most discussed books for years. The book is also a number 1 bestseller in New York.
