The jury said the following about this film: “Oranges and Sunshine is a film with a special subject, but is related to something we hear more and more about in our country: child abuse. Told in a surprising manner. A search by a strong woman, beautifully portrayed by Emily Watson. Well balanced, light dramaturgy. A film that is sometimes very touching and in the camera keeps a fine distance.”
