Léonie de Boer wins DELTA Young Talent Award with Stokje

Léonie de Boer has won the DELTA Young Talent Award in the DELTA Shorts film competition for short films with ‘Stokje’. This award carries a prize of € 1000.-. De Boer wrote and directed the short and also won an award for Best Screenplay. In addition to this, one of the actors of the short won the award for Best Actor.

De Award for Best Director was won by Erik van Helvoirt wih ‘Silence’.

De Award voor Beste Cinematography went to ‘Staat van Angst’.

De Award for Beste Actress was won by Roos Ouwehand who played in ‘Even’ by Anielle Webster.

The Encouragement Award was won by Mary Wardak with ‘The Never Happy Ending’

DELTA Shorts is the film competition for Young filmmakers in which everyone between 14 – 35 years old from the Netherlands and Flanders can compete by sending in their shorts. 42 films were entered iall people from the Netherlands . DELTA Shorts is een competitie waarbij iedereen uit Nederland en België, tussen de 14 en 35 jaar een korte film kan inzenden voor de strijd om de DELTA Young Talent Award. DELTA shorts werd dit jaar voor de zevende keer georganiseerd tijdens Film by the Sea.
