Opening film of the Film and Literature programme at Film by the Sea 2010 is The Tree by Julie Bertuccelli. The film is based on the bestseller ‘Our Father Who Art In The Tree’ by Judy Pascoe. A beautiful film that tells the story of a young girl who thinks that her late father whispers to her through the leaves, settles in the tree and refuses to climb down from it... The main roles are played by Charlotte Gainsbourg, Marton Csokas, Tom Russell and Morgana Davies.
