British author, adventurer and presenter Redmond O’Hanlon visits Film by the Sea 2010. The premiere of the film ‘Darwins Verstekeling’ will be on Monday 13 September.
The film consists of fragments from the TV show ‘Beagle: in het kielzog van Darwin’ and material which has never been shown before.

In 2009-2010, Redmond O'Hanlon was a guest and co-presenter of the Dutch programme 'Beagle: in het kielzog van Darwin' (VPRO Television). The clipper 'Stad Amsterdam' re-traced the route that Charles Darwin took aboard HMS Beagle (1831-1836), a journey that played a seminal role in his ideas on evolution.
